RAM Records have a strong claim to being the greatest drum & bass label to have ever existed. The label, kicked off by a teenage ANDY C back in the early 90s, has been at the forefront of the many permutations Jungle and DnB has passed through over the years – from the tear out jungle of countless seminal ANDY C releases, to early Chase & Status cuts, the game-changing jitter of Noisia’s neurofunk, and soul drenched vocal anthems from the likes of Wilkinson. Ram has consistently led the pack time and again. Now a quarter of a century in, and it doesn’t look like they’re slowing down anytime soon.
